Nita Sims Breazeale and Hopkins Payne Breazeale were prominent members of Baton Rouge society for most of the 20th century. She was the daughter of Robert Nicholls Sims, Jr., of Ascension Parish, La. Her family included distinguished businessmen, judges, lawyers, and politicians.
